There is an S13 with RB 4Sale in the Cars For Sale with one of these BOV's.

true its the backspin of your turbo
my mate blew his turbo fan running ten psi boost without no bov so supposedly the pressure is strong and cause it to crack so i guess its bad to have the flutter even though it sounds Hektik
usualy u can also get the flutter noise by tighting ur bov realy tight

a bov and a wastegate are nothing near the same thing
wastegate controls boost by dumping out exhaust gas
ur mates a dumb ass

i dont understand why people think the compressor/exhaust wheels will just stop and reverse direction, or 'backspin'... if that were to happen exhaust backpressure post engine pre turbine would go insane, cause massive amounts of reversion and stall the car each time you got flutter

it just doesnt happen

edit: i very very very much doubt your mate blew his turbo running 10psi, just because he didnt have a bov

Its easy to do but you just get bored of it after a few weeks of hearing it IMO

i agree. im running 10 psi without a bov.
