Just a nice combo for you guys who want 300+rwkw with a reasonable outlay, but minimal repair prices and surprisingly not that much lag.
60-1 Trim T04 Comp wheel
0.5 or 0.8 front cover (T04E preferably)
P Trim exhaust wheel
1.06 or .96 rear housing
360 Degree thrust and collars.
This can be built brand new for about 2k
Slightly less with 2nd hand exhaust housing.
Full boost easily by 5000rpm, and about enough flow for 600 flywheel HP
With a 1.15 housing and T66 comp wheel i guess there is an easy 700hp there, but the big rear housing is needed to stop surge.

With the right words to "trade people" you can get Garrett GT28 with 0.7 compressor and 0.84 exhaust for about $2000. Brand new.

Waste some breath in conversation, stop wasting money.

sorry if i wasn't clear with the intention of my post.
i had this turbo built for my sr20det 180sx, and built a custom manifold to suit. With 360 degree ceramic coated thrust collars, 30psi all day every day won't be too much of an issue.
I have seen the same thing support 310+rwkw on sr/fj20's, at 25ish psi boost. It is a monster turbo, capable of taking your car (properly set up), well into the 10 second 400m bracket. Street drivability in other 2l cars was surprisingly not that bad, but it doesn't exactly have the response of a 2530 :)
Theres a good 1-2 full seconds of lag if you mash the throttle once over the boost threshld, so forget any sort of controlled drift. But as opposed to a GT style turbo, if a piece of engine goes thru it (which wouldn't surprise me at 300rwkw, exhaust valves get hot real quick), it's fairly cheap to rebuild. Figure this turbo to have similar potential to a 650HP GT30 style turbo. Supporting mods would be a FULLY built engine, but with the flood of quality american internal components, at half the price of jap stuff, such an engine is fairly cheap to build.
heh, comparing it to a gt28 is like apples and oranges.
