Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had much experience with these turbo's? Its an internal wastegated turbo. Think it has 0.86 rear on it. I have been told it flows around 410ps but have heard that HKS ratings are at rear wheels(?). Does anyone know cause I have mainly heard of external 2835's and know they can push 250kw+

Its going on SR with 550cc injectors, microtech, fuel pump, FMIC etc. Any idea on rear wheel power figures? I'm hoping for 220kw+

2835= 400PS, 70mm inlet
2835R 420PS, 100mm inlet, anti-surge shroud
2835ProS= 100mm inlet, anti surge shroud, internal gate.

And you'll be able to make over 220rwkw easily

thanks for the info.

I was a little concerned that the turbo wouldnt make the power i wanted. Obviously the dyno will determine that but just didnt want to fork out more money and not get the results.

Have you ever seen this turbo on a car? If so how much power would it make considering it had all the other bits it needed (except cams) and around 18psi?

I reckon about 250rwkw conservatively.

I know someone who has the exact hair dryer and he's making that much.

Is that on a SR as well? If so how the hell does it go????

What's the response of the turbo like ie when does it kick in, does it have much lag??

The old turbo I had, had very good response (T28 off S14) hopefully the 2835 isn't that bad...

then again if it makes 250kw atw I shouldn't complain too much!!!

if you only want 220kw (only and 200ke shouldnt be in same sentence). I would suggest HKS GT-RS. I am getting one my self and is aiming for 220kw. These would bolt straight in, and would come on boost much quicker, better drivability

you'll struggle to make the best out of that turbo with what's surrounding it.
your injectors won't flow enough, and if you haven't put in camshafts or a decent exhaust manifold, you'll be holding it back.

Hey guys, where the hell were you when I first put this thead up :D I could have used the advice then. I have found out the hard and expensive way that this turbo needs cams and manifold. Still not on, but the car is going in for dyno this Saturday to see what it can do now. I can measure the effectiveness of the future mods then. Will let you know how I go. There is a thread in the 'Silvia' section titled '200rwk Not Happy' with more detail.
