Well thats not entirely true waht they said, as an aftermarket plumb back BOV does exactly the same job as the standard BOV, I take it that you know that there is a standard BOV, its lives under the battery.
So any aftermarket plumb back BOV will be better for high boost applications as some say that the standard one leaks on high boost.
I have a GFB hybrid 50% atmo 50% plumb back.

why do u guys mess around with atmo`s, cause of the sicccccccccck sound it makes. Run a plumback and get your hands of ya gherkins :-? Nissans and there afm`s and atmo bov`s dont mix simple. If ya wantthe attention go to Kmart and buy yourself some more fast and Furious graphics

I like atmo's BOV's not because of the attention it draws from out side the car, but because from inside the car sounds and feels more like a Turbo car, not an na.

Thats my reason. :-?

oh my god! hahahaha! ermmmmm... wouldnt you think that running the right products is far more important than the cute little noises an atmo BOV makes?
a suggestion that was made earlier is probably the best idea of all. cant remember but someone here has a GFB hybrid using 50% atmo and 50% plumb back.. ideally, better to be used 100% plumb back for a more accurate reading by the AFM, less richness between gear changes and reduced backfiring. anyways.......... even though a plumb back BOV releases air back thru the intake after the AFM, you can still clearly hear the flutter back thru the pod.. so whats the difference?

does anyone use a GFB 100% plumback on a s13 setup with a pod filter? Can you still hear the piston open and close?

I am trying to get the stock s15 BOV sound with a pod filter. Well actually i am trying to get any sound. I have had an atmo bov on a diferent car for years, os i am looking for something different.
