yay! thats what i just put in mine.
still running it in. grrrrr!
another couple hours on the dyno and all should be sweet.
looking at realistic figures of around 320ps @ treads.

funny thing is... i just pulled out a GT25/40 and that was doin 272ps @ wheels and without computer mods. im lucky i didnt start bending and burning valves.

on a good note, the HKS GT BS is a beaut hairdryer for the SR20

any internal engine mods to making 320ps?

heard that the GTRS has 400ps available with just the addition of more aggressive cams and the usual bolt on bits

Good luck mate!

I think you need more than that is listed because I am way off 400ps with what you just mentioned and more closer to 300ps.

ok... ive run in my new snail...
it has lovely spool up at around 3000. running it on 1 bar at the moment with ease. ill be sure to get it dyno'd soon. im very curious to see what comes out of it.
one thing... does anybody know why this particular one has a nickname?
they call it a (disco potato) ive been told the potato part is because of the unusual potato shaped exhaust outlet..etc. who knows. any ideas?
garret has some strange people workin the designs apparently.

maybe the disco bit comes from the fact that it gets the party happening when it hits boost :D

The exhaust outlet is the same for all the t2 flanged garret/HKS turbo's that's why they bolt up to your existing dump.

The turbo referred to as the disco potato is the garrett GT 28 RS not the HKS GT RS. No idea why its actually called a disco potato ( i think thats an american thing)
