current dyno reading is 157.4rwkw at 6psi.

It has basically no lag at all once it's over 3k or so, and full boost is available from about 2200rpm.

stock power rating was 119 or 121kw, depending on who you talk to.

I've also heard 130 for the S15 version.

depending on how you do it you can make it reasonably cheap - but I think the cheapest option would be to use a Bluebird SSS engine.

The GTiR one is obviously a good choice, but will be more expensive.

front mount ......$450 hybrid copy core, custom piping extra
Blow off valve....from $200
HKS air filter......$199 RRP universal filter, prolly $150 if you search.

turbo injectors, fuel pump all that crap....budget another grand
electronic boost controller.....from $500
turbo timer...from $150
s15 t28.....from $700
GTiR bonnet...s13s bonnets are about $225, GTiR are much rarer. $400ish

My estimates, using cheapest possible in each. ^

Suddenly the 'poor quality silvia' doesnt sound so bad does it, and you cant put a price on RWD over FWD in this case.

haha good point!

that reminds me.. my S14a had a slight punch-up with a brick wall not so long ago... (handbrake fail)
a few parts needed which included bonnet, bar, grill...etc. i got all the parts except the bonnet and just my luck, no bonnets available from Nissan. waited 2 weeks to get one from Japan..
my other option was this....

a un-named lebo offered to rip one for me. so he wanted to go steal another S14a from some poor fella that probably hasnt insured it. he would have taken the car, snatched the bonnet and probably burnt the rest of the car. so the dilemma i would have is that a guy would have lost his pride and joy costing him probably 20k to 30k just so i can have my $500 bonnet.
i humbly declined the kind jesture by the habib and kept a clear conscience by getting a freshly supplied spanka from Nissan..

oops! sorry to hijack the thread.

Jimmy, I would watch what you say, you are borderline breaking rules here, and with comments like that, don't be suprised to get flammed.
People that steal cars are fukin scum and deserve whats coming to them.
If you really think that, stealing someones car is ok then.... well... I don't even have he words to describe what I feel.
