I was wondering, what would be the costs of getting a shop to make a new turbo manifold for an RB25, that could position the turbo in a high mount position.

Would it simply better to look for a 2nd hand RB-turbo engined turbo manifold? Im just trying to work out all the different options i have at the moment, and what could get me the most satisfaction for my dollar.

most exhaust type places would be charging $1000+ based on my limited research in the past.. But you might get lucky and find someone who's done it before, or knows of someone who has..
Try calling people like SSS Automotive, they might be able to put you onto somemone. (that's how I found the people that did my extractors)

You will pay a heap for a 6 cyl exhaust manifold. Workshops charge 1k+ for a 4cyl one, and the difficulty of building a 6cyl manifold is much higher. I reckon 1300-1400
