ebay is fine, but rather get it locally (justjap, saber etc) as if theres anything wrong, you can go back to the shop and get it sorted out rather then having to send it back to where ever it came from.

www.justjap.com
www.powerdigger.com

takes a few hours to install if you never done it before, i believe the saber kits come with instructions.

brand matters you get what you pay for! Go for something good from the get go so you don't have to redo everything again.
Ebay noname ones are china junk I wouldn't use it again - stupid mistake I made there.
DIY isn't hard it's just time consuming.

from personal experience

try not to get a THICK FMIC, this is because the hot air at the front of the FMIC is carried to the back of it, and thus the back isn't cooled enough if anything at all.
ALSO, the radiator and the rest of the car aren't cooled.

depends on what power you going for. but cheapie at least gktech.

install about 400-1000 (this is what i have been qouted)

if you good with tools and got time you can do it yourself.

plus you have to factor a slimer battery as well.

Depending on the symptoms I would say that the wastegate or blow off device is stuck open. Probably the intercooler isn't holding boost (i.e. got an hole in it). Are these top quality parts that you put in or ebay special?

There are a ton of high quality low price parts for the wrx and sti available pretty much worldwide. You don't need to throw in ARC stuff for it to be affordable.
