As followed up from this thread --->
http://forum.silviansw.com/viewtopic.php?t=28518
Ive decided to go with the Garrett GT2860RS in chase of my aim of 220-230rwkw.

My current mods are a front mount, exhaust and pod filter.

Ive done some reading and to achieve my goal I will also need;
Fuel pump upgrade, injector upgrade and ecu chipped, and up grade clutch, and a boost controller.

My question is, will this be enough to achieve my desired power level?

not exactly a must have item however rb's are well known for breaking down under boost.. so probly a coilpack upgrade is in need, aswell as a bigger afm if you choose the remap the std ecu...

I had a look and a Z32 afm will do the trick.

EDIT: I havnt mentioned that I only have a cat back stainless exhaust system, not sure weather to keep it all stainless or not. Doesnt really matter does it?

Get at least a dump and front pipe to clear out the system. Your exhaust will only flow as fast as it's smallest restriction. In this case, it's the dump and/or front

A decent set should be under 400 dollars and you'll notice a massive increase in response and power. Maybe take a look at the CES designs, I have one on my S14 and yielded 14rwkw just from the dump/front combo alone. Great bang for buck if you ask me.

Yeah I know what difference dump and front pipe makes, I done this to my old silvia.
To put it simply, I wana be able to do it all in stages.
For instance;

Full exhaust and boost controller then turbo.

Next step, injectors, afm, fuel pump and ecu.
Would these steps work.

i would do fuel pump then exhaust then get a boost controller but dont set it, then aquire the injectors,turbo afm etc. get it all fitted and tuned and you should be sorted. reason i say fuel pump first is because a front pipe could potentialy raise your boost level. so will a boost controller obviously and you could run the risk of making it lean, thus ends your dreams for 220-230rwkw..

you'd be better off doing the exhaust,then the fuel pump,then the boost controller,and then the rest in one hit. you'll have the least amount of time without a proper tune that way.

Yup will work..

Finish off exhaust firstly. Get new fuel pump installed.. up the boost a little.. get a fmic or bigger side mount..

If you want bigger turbo, then get turbo, injectors, afm and ecu in one hit.. Safest way!!
