I want to put a z32 afm on my sr in my 180. The afm is an 80mm diameter. I want to know what people have done in the future in the way of an adapter to the turbo to adapt the 80mm to the smaller turbo intake. Is there an adapter you can buy? What have people done because Im sure Im not the first person to put in a z32 on there car? maca_ab |

Apexi make a super suction kit or is it super power intake? anyway it allows you to bolt up a Z32 AFM to an SR20 turbo inlet. has a metal pipe. the Apexi pod filter bolts directly to the front of the AFM so there is no adaptor plate |

haha what you want is the "apexi power intake" bolts straight onto the z32 Pretty cheap when you buy just the filter, i.e. no adaptor |

Nengun have the Apexi SS induction kit available for about $370 delievered. Sponsors charge drug money in my opinion. One of them on NS.com still wants $660 for a Blitz SBC ID3, where another sponsor sells them for $600. While Nengun have sold them for $520-550 delivered depending what time of the month you buy it... |

Why bother? Really while you are using a stockish turbo there is no real gain to be had. Only when the intake size of the turbo is larger than the std AFM is it going to really make a difference. |

makes a difference if your pipe is getting plastic pipe is getting sucked in and blocks your air way, s15 at 200kw starts doing it with stock turbos, so it is a good investment, |

depends on the condition of your pipe, with my 180sx it was collapsing with only 177rwkw with a t28 turbo... old plastic was very bendable and was causing all sorts of problems under boost even with the metal ring in it |
