I have a KKR 330 on my SR20DET blacktop.

Makes 217.6 RWKW with fuel system, tomei poncams, cam gears, haltech e8.

comes on full boost at 3800 (18psi) and tapers off a bit towards say 15 at redline.

Turbo is bloody brilliant for 600 bucks. HOWEVER. I wouldn't buy one again, a disco potato on my engine would make 250+ and spool up as quick or quicker, and this dodgy china turbo leaks oil into the exhaust, so while there is nothing wrong with my engine, i get clouds of blue smoke all the damn time.

spend the extra money, buy a GT28RS. Also I had to make all kinds of custom pipes because they arent bolt ons.

OH and PS: since they dont have a standard exhaust flange, (at least the 330 doesn't) so that means no gasket for you! Ben Ellis said in response to my query about this (wtf do you mean no gasket?) "you will have less problems if you dont use a gaskett" yes he said 'less problems'.

Strange thing tho, Its bolted up to the dump pipe with nothing but metal on metal and it doesn't leak. Go figure.

Go to otomoto and have a look at the product quality (esp the inside of the intercooler cores!!) and you won't go near KKR again..

Ok guys selling shitty products..

Those intercooler were absolute rubbish, in fact they were so poor quality calling them rubbish is being too kind.

If they are the turbos I am thinking of they had on display, I didn't think they looked all that bad really.

update on my KKR330 situation.

took it off after approx 3000 kms (maybe less)

massive shaft play, massive oil leak into the exhaust. Was still making the power when I took it off but also making the massive clouds of smoke from the oil leak.

JUST DONT BUY ONE. THATS YOUR ANSWER

VW/Audi, Porsche, Blitz etc is KKK. KKR turbos are a copy in the same way Carrett is a copy of Garrett turbos.

Personally I wouldn't go within a million miles of them and given the price of Garrett turbos these days I can't imagine why anyone would.

all the vw & audi turbos are garret,
