After pulling my brand new turbo off the engine, I noticed damage on the compressor wheel. After a closed eye inspection of the new stainless intake pipe. I noticed loose metal dags hanging off the welds on the inside of the pipe. Putting 2 + 2 together the turbo needs to be repaired. Who does QUALITY work and balancing in Sydney?

Garrett in Chipping Norton. They have a VSR balancer which is required for balancing BB turbos

Post up pics of the damage. It might not be worth worrying about

GCG stands for???

Garrett dont have the comp wheel in stock and said it would take several weeks to get in. They recommended I speak to GCG to see if they had one one the shelf.

oh no.. hope your engine didnt swallow any of that up

might want to check your FMIC inlet to see if any bits have pooled in there

Good idea mokompri... I just assumed that those bits had already found there way through the engine, I never thought that they may have been trapped at the IC.

Called GCG to see if they had the comp wheel in stock but they didn't. I found them a bit expensive so unless anyone else has a suggestion I might go through Garrett.
