The car is in the shop this week getting new exhaust manifold, dump, metal cat etc etc etc, basically everything off the head is new including the turbo.

Will the new steam pipe manifold etc etc etc need any special treatment to bed it in or just go for broke. Same question for the turbo (it is a BB turbo).

Just basics really:

Make sure the manifold is clean inside and install it.

Make sure the turbo is getting oil then give it hell.

The exhaust shop are doing the lot, make and fit, I just have to drive it home (kind of feel funny not doing any of the work)

Thanks for the feed back guys, I will still need to get my tune right before I start testing any limits of the turbo. I will also need to make sure I don't have any nasty unexpected lean outs either (exceed injector duty cycle), so I plan on creeping up on its potential.

Once I get the car back, next job on the list FMC.
