ok I can finally give you an update on how the turbo upgrade went. I only just picked the car up last night after having the cat back replaced again so it is still early days (and bearing in mind I havent drove it for three months) but...

even with standard boost (boost may be a few pounds higher due to exhaust and different wastegate actuator) but it seems stronger between 3000-5000, having trouble remebering but it also seems more responsive.

Will be interesting once I have a proper tune going (still using my old tune) defenitately rate it as a streetable turbo.

did you see me light it up comming out of that street??? well I can confirm it will buzz into 4th quite easily (actually wasn't pulling many revs at all). I was just picking the car up from Sureline I got the cat back replaced with something a little quieter.

no cams yet. Cant say 100% for sure yet below 3000 because it is still running on old tune but I can say there is no apperent loss but not sure just yet whether there is a gain.

Need to get the feel of driving it again first.

After another day of driving, I would be inclined to say below 3000 rpm response has improved too even without a tune. Very happy with the turbo so far, I noticed the power didn't fall over as badly once it got to about 6000. Not sure if this is turbo related or the new exhaust. I would be inclined to say the new exhaust.

Really hard to put my finger on it but it just seems a little sharper. Like when I want to slip into a gap in the traffic, it seems to spool quicker and doesn't seem to have the doughie lag feeling the T25G had.

But at the same time it doesn't feel like it is making any more power, but really it is making no boost yet so I wouldn't expect it to feel like it has more power, but definately feels more responsive and also seems to get through that 3000 -5000 rpm quicker.

The ballbearing core could have something to do with it, but the exhaust would definately make that sort of a difference

Perhaps you should come for a run in my 200 to see what that turbo is like on 24psi

probably the fact that the turbo is BB and the extra breathing mods all add up

Hard to put it into words but the new combo feels like it is just ready for more boost... the old setup when I went from stock to about 12 psi felt like it had more power but then run out of puff once it got to about 6000rpm. The new combo went to 7000 and didn't nose over like before but doesn't fell all that much more powerful. But it feels like it has the potential if I wind up the boost.

Starting to doubt it has BB core because when I shut it down it doesn't roll on like other BB turbos I have heard.
