Someone please tell me i'm wrong,

But what exactly is the point of using a split pulse turbine housing if you are feeding it with a log manifold? Where are the divided pulses? he even knows the theory and threw it out the window when he made the (very ordinary) manifold.

He would have been better off spending extra on a decent manifold and sticking a t28 on it. Would have cost the same (or less) required less fabrication (more dollars) and been easier as well.

i didnt read it all, but if thats the case then its pretty funny heh

but there claiming 350-400HP from these, with the same amount of lag as a T25, thats a pretty big call !

Thats about the same as an s15 t28 by the time you account for driveline losses. A decent split pulse manifold/turbo combo will give improved transient response and reduce the boost threshold over a similar regular(?) type housing but ultimately top end is going to be pretty similar. A BB core will give gains in those areas aswell.

yeah im pretty skeptical about their power claims. power will be limited by how large the turbine is really, and the compressor wheel will obviously have a flow limit too.

with what their claiming, it would be possible to get ~250rwkw, with the lag of as you say a t28.

to make it sort of comparable then, thats like saying, running a split pulse exhaust housing on GTRS with a split manifold, should give it t28 spoolup!
