Hi All,

The S15 JDM boost gauge, that sits on the A pillar, is electronic.
It has a harness connector to hook up to the JDM S15 wiring.

Does this wiring also exists on the ADM S15? Can anyone tell me?

Is it possible to install the JDM boost gauge on the ADM? Does ADM has the wiring for it? If so, where is it?

The ADM S15 manual does not show it. Does anyone have the JDM S15 manual and can post some info from it?

Thanks boys and girls!

do you have the sensor that sits under the bonnet next to the intake manifold? well, you will need that if you dont. AUDM ones didnt come with the boost sensor

as for the rest, you will just need to apply power - via IGN etc - i can supply the wiring diagram if you need it.

Thanks for the info, zei20l!

I have noticed that there is an oval metal bracket with 2 mounting holes, located on the top of the radiator, on the drivers side under the bonnet.
It looks like something is supposed to go on it.

If this is the place for the pressure gauge (I gather that is how the electronic boost gauge is driven), then it should give some sort of voltage signal proprtional to intake manifold pressure/vacuum.

Is that the one you are refering to?

I would love to see the JDM wiring diagram(s), if anyone has got them.

Cheers!

no that sensor next to the radiator i think is for the climate control.

the boost pressure sensor is bolted to the left side of the engine bay near the throttle body AFAIK.

im happy to make photocopies of the JDM service manual if you want it.

Hi zei20l,

Yes, please! I would love to have a look.
Can you scan them in and e-mail them to me, or post them on a forum?

Do you know how the JDM boost gauge is driven?
Is it straight from the sensor, or is it through the ECU?

Thanks!

Cheers

Hi zei20l,

Thanks for doing that!

The next question is, where do you get it?

Does anyone know where to get the sensor, the plumbing and the wiring harness for the JDM S15, from?

Cheers! :D

wreckers are probably going to be your best bet.

A wreckers is your best bet for the sensor at a budget price. Or alternativly an aftermarket gauge.

Nissan can supply the boost sensor but don't count on it being cheap.
