GTRS is hovering around the $2400 mark from NS.com sponsors. Probably 1k extra from BD4s or whoever else stocks them.

Instead of buying the HKS GT-RS wouldn't the 0.64 Garrett GT2871R be a better option at almost 1k cheaper?

Do your research on 2871's before buying one as there are a few variations.

lowboy its robbie meet you a while ago

i have the 440hp GT2871R with .86

pistons and rods but no top end yet, 210rwkw@15psi, 235rwkw@22psi

EDIT: 210kw on Insight Motorsport Dyno Blacktown

235kw C&V Performance Dyno Carringbah

too be safe you should do your pistons and rods, also cams and valve springs will help, should make 250kw at about 18-22psi with the GT2871R and those supporting mods

that first graph looks really narrow and short, and boost curve on the second one looks nice and smooth

are you making full boost by 4600rpm ?

Ouch. Thats a lot of lag for not a hell of a lot of pwah. Though it has the potential to make a lot more from the look of it.

yeah she needs more breath, top end has been purchased, HKS RAS, HKS valve springs, step 2 HKS 264IN 264EX cams, just waiting for the right time to fit them

then up the boost to about 15psi low and 20psi high, remap the ECU and i should hit 250rwkw

there is a bit of lag with the .86 exhaust but once full boost hits it really throws you back and keeps pulling 15psi all the way to 6800rpm

more of a drag setup dave where as you would want alot of power down low for your driftin

it keeps me happy, plenty of power so far to have fun with
