The gt30 will do it.

The t518z might stretch that far but i reckon it'll fall short.

The gtrs will be similar to the t518z.

You may want to consider getting rid of the plenum.

bite your tounge mr skyline-fancy-pants

my trust t518z 8cm made 249.5rwkw and it was still goin after than

the 10cm will put out 250rwkw no problem.

the t518z turbos also come on boost quicker than the gt-rs - not bad for a non bb turbo....

id probably get an RX6 mate from apexi.

This may be true, but i've yet to see a car do it on a reliable dyno with witnesses. I am a fan of the Trust turbos, but there is so much bullshit out there on the forums that you can't beleive anything you read anymore.

Says who? do you know anybody who has actually done back to back testing? or are you relying on heresay from the fools on ns.com?

Note that i'm not trying to start a brawl, but until i see it myself, i'm a skeptic

comparing the many dyno grpahs i have seen from various people all pulling similar numbers to myself, it was quite evident the gtrs came on boost later than the t518z

i think an EBC could affect this also, and a different wastegate actuator. so im not sure how these could be compared unless on the exact same car witht he same EBC with same settings, and using the same WG actuator. or external gate if thats what it uses

i love those dyno graphs where they reach ~240rwkw @ 4500rpm and then flatline the power all the way to the redline

maybe if they were proper graphs, instead of drawn up ones, they would have some more credibility

Nothing coming out of NS is crediable.

The majority of the sponsors on there are full of shit as well.

Wasn't one of them claiming the 518Z would make 280 not long ago.
Im using a trust turbo and its okay, there are better options out there thats for sure but it works for me.

BLISTIC you and every one else knows you turbo DID"NT make a genuine 249Kw that dyno was doctored as TMB spoted a while ago. Have a look at your intake vs ambient temp. Might as well put a match to that dyno sheet as it holds NO credibility around here. What did you make on CRD's dyno again?? 220's right?

really ? can we see graph again ?

you have to admit though, autobarn has done a damn good job of marketing these turbos across as the best of the best

But the Hitman run was on a doctored dyno.

226 is a very beleivable result from that turbo at that boost, 249 is a bullshit figure even at 20psi.
The proof is in the shoot out values at the bottom of the graph.

From driving cars with the T518Z and the GTRS I'd say that the Trust turbo starts to spool a bit earlier, but from then on it's quite a lot less responsive.

So, it spools earlier, but it's a laggier turbo.
You'd especially notice that effect coming on and off throttle at 4-5000rpm while throttle steering mid corner.
Since most people just give it a squirt in a straight line or want dyno figures that's not a major concern, but I'd certainly call the GTRS a better turbo.
Then again, for most people (standard internals, step 1 cams, all the usual bolt ons) the GT2530 is a better turbo than both, if they want to do some serious driving.

Blistic,

I think you need to come for a run in my car. 518z is responsive and a good upgrade but the GTRS is the slightly better all areas response/torque & top end. If you don't believe talk to some NSCC people who actually raced/drift there 200's.

The GTRS as 1 bar of boost at 3500rpm and 1.3 bar by around 4500rpm. I will say that the GTRS will struggle to hold more than 1.3 bar to the rev limiter due on the internal wastegate .

The GTRS will make over 250rwkw with the right supporting hardware and a good tune. I have made 253 rwkw on CRD's dyno on 1.3 bar on pump fuel.

I will be changing to an external wastegate soon with the hope of achieving 265rwkw+ on 1.6bar maybe more with some 110 octane fuel
