Pretty much any workshop that sells aftermarket manifolds are able to get in top mount, although why do you want to top mount a stock turbo?

double the usual cost of a low mount stainless manifold, and you'll be close.
on top of the manifold itself, you need a new dump pipe, custom oil feed and return lines, custom water lines in and out,and a custom intake setup.

you can get a smoother piping path and more equal length runners by going high mount, but unless you really need to,it's a lot of extra expense for not much benefit.

don't forget you'll also need to fabricate a lot of extra heat shielding, especially for the ABS if your car runs it,and the bonnet skin, which you'll likely burn the paint off of.

for a setup like this you will be looking at about $4000-$5000 depending on how cheap you get the parts, this includes installing of the parts

GT28, internal wastegate, high mounted

I can't understand why you would high mount such a smallish turbo. I personally think it would look dumb.

Go with a low mount and have the manifold and piping polished if you like shinny things.

Or buy a bigger turbo and high mount that.

maybe an upgrade in turbo is the near future as he has stated

plus a GT28 looks pretty tidy on a high mount

very true, wait till you have enough money to get all the components then get them installed in one big hit, will save time and money

my top mount setup didnt cost near that :) lol, u can get top mount manifolds for around 500-600 dollers, u can use ur stock dump, and put an extender pipe in like i did n change the angle slightly not hard, u need to fabricate some new piping tho in my case i cut the old one shorter and used silicon right angle hoses that worked fine ;)

Please explain to me how a stock dump will still fit and not point the dump straight through the bonnet?

more importantly, why on earth would you go to a high mount turbo and a custom manifold, but still use the stock dump? :-?

i had a CES dump on my car, i had to cut off old flange, n reuse another flange , where it starts going down under car u cut it and put a longer pipe in , only thing had to modify in that sense....

oh and also the position of the turbo is slightly different so u do have to reweld it on a bit of an angle to face the turbo lot of takin it on and off to suit , but worked in the end :)
