im using a GT3540 , 300rwkw is very doable :P lag around 4k :) pityt my car still at ricol tho

i had a brandnew 3540 and and sold it for 1000 coz some performance mechanics said it wouldnt be on full noise until about 4500 5000rpm..

what yous recon about tdo6 20g??

and i have more than enough cash 2 build the motor.
i have the rest of the gear already but minor problem,
motor soulds like i diesel engine on idle when it warms up...ive found tghe problem and its currently getting fixed.. vtc unit....

my 3540 with .84 as i said kicks in at bout 4ish, but guess depends on hte rest of your setup,,, 300rwkw and barely any lag will b a problem why not just use a 3040 ? that will do it

don't worry about the lifter/vct rattle you have now as you'll be throwing $20k + at fully rebuilding the engine anyway to get the big number you want.

for 300kw atw you'll be replacing everything in it,and pretty much everything that supports it as well. about all that will be original will be the crank,and the bottom half of the inlet manifold.

very true, ive noticed an upsurge in the number of people going for the larger number now, seems like 200 just hasnt got the bragging rights or the ego multiplier effect anymore

i cant understand how anyone can stand that amount of lag on the street without going insane

it's funny cos it's true!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Power is the new rice.

People are far more concerned about power figures these days than they are about lap times, or even driving their cars!

Most performance mods (even handling) are done more for rice value than real usage requirements.

300Kw is not practical.

Ill garantee my 200 odd Kw car will blow them off the lights anyways :roll:
Ill actually have some boost before 5 grand :o
