S14s use a non ball bearing T28 turbo.
It's almost the same as the S15, but doesn't have the wastegate separator tab on the turbine housing.

The S15s have either ball bearing or non ball bearing turbos depending on luck it seems.

if you get the right one it will be very slightly better.

Not worth the swap generally unless yours is dead.

just get the garrett gtrs turbo theyre bout 1400 now, similar response with a bit more up top

theres a group buy goin on nissansilvia.com for a bit on turbos i believe they also have the t28bb as well.

id probably go the garrett gtrs if u wanted "bolt on" and u have not many mods on ur car.

nah the GTRS is seriously laggy unless you do a lot of other mods to make the most of it.

A GT2530, or a 2510 as Lawsy uses will give much better results on a close to stock engine.

a GTRS won't work properly without the supporting work in place. you won't top 220kw atw (which you can stretch the S15 turbo to btw) unless you have cams,a tuned ex manifold,a proper fuel system, and decent management. it's a good idea to have forgies and rocker stoppers as well, for reliability.
with all this stuff in place,a GTRS can get you to a reliable 250kw atw.

if you're not willing to open the engine, stick to a 2530,or just a std S15 turbo.
