hey guys,
i posted this sumwhere else but got no replies..maybe this is the proper place to get some help..lol :D
i was wondering if its normal for my turbo to kinda whine when its boosting up..it kinda sounds like theres a cop car behind me. i donno if theres sumthin rubbin agains sumthin or watever but yeah. my 180 is stock as a rock 1.8 turbo.if any1 has any idea on wat it is it will help me heaps..thanx

maybe just blown a gasket :) from turbo to dump, , and manifold to turbo, or even engine to manifold :) i blew all 3 and it made a very weird noise such as a loud spool up noise, and made it sound like a diesal truck motor :), just check to see if the bolts are tight

As above.

Also, check that the heatshield around your turbo is bolted up securely. They can rattle and whine and generally carry on if they're even a little bit loose.
