im just looking at turbos and want to know is a garrett t3 turbo any good and what is the hp rating for it and also what price would i be looking at getting one 4 any help would be great

The garrett T3 is older style turbo.
Turbine inlet flange is different to the std SR manifold & many aftermarket ones that are available.
Moving to a turbo of that sort will will incure greater expense in fitment.
Try and avoid collecting parts that may be less than ideal for later use.
In that I mean, do some reasearch. See what other people are doing. What works, what doesn't & spend your money wisely to maximise your band for your bucks.

Sounds like you have alot of reading up to do before you buy a turbo.

just leting u know that a T3 will not bolt on to ur SR20DET manifold
a sr20det manifold use a T25 flange plate and a T3 dont use that flange it has a T3 flange
so if ur paning on use it ur going to need a custom manifold or mod ur stock sr20det manifold

i realise the flange is different just wanted to know are they worth the stuff around at all i dont really mind lag as long as there isnt to much just want more power getting bored of the t25 was thinking of a t28rs or a gt30 just gotta save i geuss :cry:
