Check out his thread for turbo rebuild information. --> http://www.silviansw.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12091&highlight=turbo+rebuild

The clicking sounds were probably just your turbo cooling down.

Yep Had nothing but good work from GCG. My comp nut came loose once but they fixed it up no worries and I had it back the same day I dropped it off.

My stage 2 highflow still works after about 60,000ks and i've gotten numerous bits and pieces and advice from them in the last year or so.

what backfire dave
The grass just all of a sudden caught on fire for no apparent reason :o
I still don't think a single backfire could cause that nut to come loose but then again it was making bout 20psi and scaring the crap out of redline at the time.
I guess we will never know.

The T518z would be a good choice and if you want to save a few dollars use a TD05 or 06 old school but still a bloody good thing.

Well can somebody please help me with my first question?
On idle, and not sure when driving, my air filter is spitting out white smoke.
I took off my pipe and there is oil in the pipe and from the turbo
Image
The car is boosting fine. Underneath the air filter is a very thin layer of oil, but that has been there for a while.
So can somebody tell me whats wrong?
thank you

also: there is no movement on the turbine (shaft movemnt is not existent)

worn oil seals!!!!

make sure you keep the engine oil topped up....it's burning what's leaking out of the turbo....
