Dude i knew a bloke with one on his r33 and fk me this turbo was so well matched to his engine and little flow mods that 13.2 was his best time in the end.

I have been told that on a sr they'll tend to be a little more laggy to the piont of about 4000 but when they spool look out nice power delivery. I think there good for about 270kw-300 or somthing. I guess somone will correct me if im wrong.

I was initially going to buy this turbo but in the end went for a ball bearing hks 2835 pro in the end.

There are many different T300, they vary largely in size.

Depending on the AR's, the difference is huge, I have sold 2, sat them next to each other, one was a 0.6* and the other 0.8* ar's and one looked seriously 30-40% physically bigger, never would have believed they are both the same turbo, if you get a larger exhaust, they also have the bigger front cover.

I wonder what is actually the same between the 2, they call them the same thing but both housings and the front wheel differ!

The smaller of the two is on a friends S14, but he was foolish and ran 20+PSI with no tune and big 740CC injectors that he just stuck in and played with SAFC till it ran, no dyno.

Not surprisingly it blew up shortly after and is being rebuilt so dont really know what the turbo is capable of yet.

Actually, there're 850's and it was about 18psi..
and it popped because it ate something but anyway.

i thought it was the bigger of the two that you had? it looked bigger than the other one dan.

i've been told to expect 450-500hp at the wheels once its tuned at around 2 - 2.5bar.

Tim.
