Anybody heard of this turbo? It came off a worked Jap spec toyota cressida!
The thing is HUGE compared to the good ol t25, has anybody heard or had experience with how much lag these things will produce?
What do you guys think of the old rb26dett factory turbos?
also how much do you guys think it would cost to have the end tank custom made and rewelded on a GTR intercooler?

Lag??? who cares imagine when the thing hits boost

RB26 turbos - they are prob. off a 32 or 33 so will be old and run in, but if u find a good one well worth the small fee they would be askin.

Intercooler end tanks dunno prob under $1k dependin on how much work needed + fittin etc.

Naa it is about twice almost 3times the size of GTR turbos! The only reason I know this is cos (from left to right)there was a t25 sitting next to a t28roller bearing, which was sitting next to the gt26 turbo and on the other side of it was 2 Gtr turbos.

End Tanks 1k HOLY SHIT MATE!
What are you on about? I have a 100bucks or so in mind. Wanted to get it done by a radiator joint!

I know that a full custom Intercooler (roughly 650 x 350 x 2in) will cost about $650 to get made.

Sounds like a rather large turbo!!

i heard that the stock gtr turbo's shouldn't be put on anything else because their designed to be run as twin turbo's and as such are shite running as a single turbo?>?

Is that a CT-26 as opposed to GT? If so, it's the one off the Celica GT4... I've got a CT-20 which is a bit smaller that I bought to make a jet engine out of. I think that was off an older Supra.
