The S15 turbo can produce alot of power considering its size.
There are a couple running around that still use the standard turbo that make more than 270kw.
I am still using the standard turbo on my S15 and running only 0.9bar of boost. It has been dynoed at 197rwkw using only bolt on bits.

Lucky bastard the newer SR20's are sooo responsive to mods.

Thats 270kw at the engine I assume. Still a pretty optimistic dyno reading.

The s15 turbo should be good for 250kw at the engine. MAX. I think its factory rated at around 300 to 330 hp. Im not exactly sure.

Diffusion,

Something is seriously fucked if you're getting 300km to a tank. My 180 is a total stocker. Highway at 110km/h I get 770km to a tank. Thats under 8 litres per 100km. Around town I get 550-600klms. Thats 9-10L per 100km

As to the other question someone posted. The stock injectors on the sr20 s13 engines run out of puff at around the 300hp mark. The s15 turbo will easily use all this up.

hmmm, ok then i think ill leave the T28 alone. doesnt seem like it would be up to the task.
basically i want to get around 400hp before NOS without changing internals. (bar gasket)
i have read extensively that an S13 can hold this reliably-with correct setup and good tuning and maintenance.
so far I have EMS and a huge front mount,
but i have to finish the rebuild before i continue engine mods prob in this order:

fuel rail & injectors
Turbo, dump, wastegate
5th injector & 50hp NOS
cams
**end engine mods** (unless i completely lose my marbles!)

so thanks for the facts

S15 injectors are bigger then the S13 ones by 30cc each so they can support more power, some guy is gettin 218kw atw with S15 injectors and 16psi on a T28/T04 turbo.

so do you reckon a T04 is what i should be looking for?
i think it should make the psi I need with ease and thats what i want. i dont want to have to push the turbo to get my power but i dont want a turbo i wont use (i.e. 67, 88 etc)

Something along those lines, you could also look at a hybrid turbo like a GT28/35 etc. I take it u want 400hp at the fly not the wheels before NOS. One of these with bigger injectors should see u close.

Hey cyal8r, it's the mine's VX rom my car is running, its designed for japenese fuel so all my mixtures n stuff are out, but i still managed to run 12psi before any pinging occured when it was checked out at SAS the other day.
Running a stock ecu would probably fix the problem, but i'd rather spend the money and get an apexi power fc straight up, than getting a stock ecu and then a power fc down the track.

S15 injectors flow 110cc each more than S13:

S13 = 370cc
S15 = 480cc

utenvy, dont expect engineers certification with ems management. implant engine MUST retain factory management and emissions equipment for engineers certificate. best BOLT-ON turbo for these motors (standard nissan) is VG30DET turbo
