I'm trying to install a razo turbo timer. I managed to plug the harness in :P, and hook up the power, but it doesn't seem to work properly. It just flashes - P - at me and shuts off after about five seconds without regard to the time input :-?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
-Luke

step 1 - remove loom

setp 2 - throw turbo timer away and dont be a rice boy

setp 3 - just let it idle :)

It was free so I figure'd I'd whack it on... Honest!

Does anyone know what the yellow wire coming immediately out of the back of the timer does? I have the rest of them sussed, but that one is the prob AFAIK...

yellow is pretty much always the constant 12V source on headunits, maybe thats what it is?

the red will be Switched 12v, it sucks power through here when the car is on and goes via the fusebox and accessories position on the ignition, the yellow should be Constant 12v, it gets power through hear from the battery (probably has it's own fuse maybe) and this is for when the ignition is off it can still have power to count down the time, i bet this is the problem,

_P_ might stand for Power!

Might need to have the hand brake wire hooked up aswell. Some timers won't work properly without it connected ( and the hand brake up).

Indeed... Or park brake?

I'll give both solutions a go and see what happens...

Sure! I'll pick it up just as soon as you car's running ;)

So no-one knows how to hook it up? :(

I tried www.carmate.co.jp but it's all in japanese, and the english version doesn't seem to have as much stuff...
