What turbo's do the VG30DETT and R33 RB25DET carry? and do these bolt onto RB20DET's?

yes they do bolt on but you might have to turn the centre on the vg turbo so it lines up with the existing oil and water lines on the motor and i think the dump pipe configuration is the same

vg30dett turbos are tiny and would be a down grade. the rb25 is a very nice LARGE roller bearing turbo and will go straight on. A GREAT UPGRADE if you can find one, if not the vg30det single turbo is even bigger but older and really laggy. it will also bolt on

There are actually 2 types of VG30DET turbo's depending on the age. You can get a late model BB version, or an older model standard bearing version. Both from memory have a ceramic exhaust wheel though so you are somewhat boost limited. For the best power and response you'd get a ball bearing one rebuilt with the Rb25DET T3 compressor cover, or a bigger compressor cover with bigger comp wheel and changing the exhaust wheel to a steel item. It would be a little bit laggier than before due to the extra weight of the steel exhaust wheel, but the top end would be huge.
